About MaritimeJobFinder

MaritimeJobFinder is a job board for seafarers. It collects vacancies at sea from crewing agencies, ship managers and shipowners and shows them in one simple format, so you can compare jobs quickly, even on a slow mobile connection on board.

What you find here

• Vacancies by rank and vessel type, with salary, contract length, joining date and flag when the employer states them.
• Pages of crewing agencies and shipping companies with their current vacancies.
• Free accounts: seafarers keep a profile and a CV, companies post vacancies.
• Practical guides for seafarers: documents, interviews and how to recognise fake job offers.

How applying works

You apply directly to the company that published the vacancy: by its email, phone or website. MaritimeJobFinder is not a party to your contract.

Job search is free for seafarers

Searching for jobs, applying, your profile and your CV are always free. A real crewing agency never asks a seafarer to pay for a job. Read our scam warning before you send documents or money to anyone.

We also offer optional paid tools for seafarers (Gold), such as document expiry reminders. They are never a condition for a job and give no priority with employers.
